Following on from our highly enjoyable Italian Night 2025 , Edgton Village will be hosting a Spanish evening at the Village Hall on Saturday 5th September.

Doors will open at 7.00pm for a complimentary glass of Sangria on arrival. A CASH bar will be open throughout the evening where Spanish wines and beers can be purchased for a reasonable price !!

An authentic three course home cooked Spanish meal will be served. The first course will be the popular homemade Gazpacho with flatbread. Gazpacho a delicious taste of Summer, a cold smooth tomato soup containing locally grown peppers ,cucumber, tomato, garlic and seasoning served with flatbreads.

Main course will be a choice between a slow cooked paprika pork served with a piquant lightly spiced Spanish rice .

The alternative main course is Spanish style stuffed peppers with a sherry vinegar glaze, both served with a herbed green salad.

Desert choice will be pears poached in spiced Tempranillo and sweet sherry or Clementine and Almond cake with caramelised oranges. Both deserts are served with cream.

Throughout the evening we will play appropriate background music , but to add to the atmosphere, we will also have live entertainment from The Wanderlust. This popular trio will perform songs with a Spanish flair, with Latin Jazz and sultry blues too. Their reviews promise a touch of the unexpected and the spirit of travel.

ALL THIS CAN BE YOURS FOR THE SUM OF £25. Each ticket will carry a lucky number which will provide an opportunity to win a Spanish themed hamper to take home at the end of the evening. Extra raffle tickets will also be available to purchase.
